The 625 SXC is a bit of a confused teenager. Chassis and engine from a duel sport/adventure bike, but only 8 liters of fuel? Carb off an MX bike and competition exhaust, but definitely too lumpy to be an enduro bike.
I'm a tinkerer by nature. So when I came across a set of original 2000 660 Rallye rear tanks (a.k.a. Hens teeth), I figured may as well build a replica'ish rally bike. So for more than a year I scoured every platform from ebay to gumtree until I had collected all the parts I need for the great conversion. Most came from germany.
I'm scared to list all the mods, because then I'll be forced to add up the cost of this project...
