I just wanted to send out a general thank you to all of the people, dogs and otherwise, that contributed so much to the pleasure that I derived from my travels here in southern Africa over the past 6 weeks.
It was an amazing journey, through an amazing part of the world. I saw so much, learned so much, and was shown so much hospitality, that I can only hope to have the opportunity to reciprocate should any of you ever make your way to the Pacific Northwest of North America. (PM me).
It's time to head home and digest all that I have seen and that I have experienced.
Even as a Canadian, we have our challenges (living next door to The Donald should provide an interesting four years), but the challenges facing ZA in the coming years seem formidable. South Africa, to paraphrase Winston Churchill, is an enigma wrapped in a conundrum.
