Firstly we would like to wish all Wild Dogs members a fantastic New Year.
A new pass (4x4 / Adventure bike only) has just been opened in the Eastern Cape. It's short, steep and hugely scenic and summits at 3001m. It topples the Sani Pass altitude previous record holder by a solid 125 metres! It's a Grade 3 route and open to the public subject to certain conditions. This one will be rather interesting when it's snowing. If you haven't been up to the summit, before, it's quite an experience and will be forming one of two new routes in our new Ben 10 Eco Challenge which will go "live" later this month.

The concept behind the challenge is to drive/ride all 10 passes (in any order) within a time frame of 7 days. More details closer to the time.
The 10 passes are:
1. Ben MacDhui Pass
2. TTT (Tiffindell-Tenahead Traverse)
3. Carlisleshoekspruit Pass
4. Naudes Nek Pass
5. Volunteershoek Pass
6. Lundin's Nek Pass
7. Bastervoetpad Pass
8. Jouberts Pass
9. Otto du Plessis Pass
10. Barkly Pass
