Hehe Renrew, Its not that bad. Loads of these kinds of stuff pops up with my friends on GS's and on 990's so I am not to worried. If you use something this hard constant maintenance will be necessary. I was just thinking of friends that had to remove their swingarm and q20 the chain-setting-bolt as it was stuck and near to stripped. I believe just about all of the weak points on my bike have been addressed. I would literally not swop for a 1090 or 1290 now. I still love my bike.
my bike vs 1290
1290 is to expensive to use
my bike vs 1090
its a downgrade.
my bike vs SE
SE is old plus I am married to this one now, I wont be able to recover much of the money invested so need to use the money first.
Please make no mistake, I have a lot of opinions, but on my own stuff and myself I have the most stringent critique (dink ek verkrag engels hier....) so please try to read deeper into the thread than just taking the complaints at face value. (also, I bought this bike from Manic and now there has been some issues, none of this have been due to his ownership and I would gladly buy from him again. Its a pity he was not using the bike harder offroad actually, that would have saved me money!)
Oh, side note, my 1190 has not left me stranded next to the road as yet, my GS has (shaft failure)
So its still got that going for it which is nice....
