Hi Guys,
My 2008 1200GS engine sometimes cuts out when I leave the throttle... Everything stays on but the engine stops.
Today it cut out again (while riding about 40 - 50km/h) and when I tried to start it everything went off, it was like there was/is a loose wire. The computer started booting again and then it would just go off again. For the first time the "EWS!" sign was displayed...
After checking if the wires were connected to the battery properly (which they were) the bike came on again and I could start it.
I bought a new battery about 4 months ago (this never happened with the previous battery), could this be battery related? But then again why does this only happen sometimes...
Has anyone experienced something like this before?
