I rode my 990 to work yesterday and had no problem, bike is going very well. It stood outside under a shade port during a heavy downpour (30mm in half hour).
Last night when I wanted to go home, could not start. Had 2x fault blink codes (Immobilizer blink code 13 and Engine control blink code 81 F1)
Left the bike at work last night and caught a lift home.
This morning she starts fine without an issue.
My question is, how and where does water get into the electronics to cause this malfunction? The bike was stationary all day under the shade port. Fuse box inside cubbyhole was dry inside
