Move rear brake to handlebar

I know it may sound stupid to the stonch riders, but I would love to have my rear brake on my handle bar as opposed to having it down at our foot. I believe having it on the handlebar will make riding much easier. Main advantage for me would be in right-hand turns. I have been riding mountainbike all my life and having the rear brake on the handlebar just feels natural and make control more effective and symmetrical in my mind.

So my question is: what would be the easiest and cheapest way to make this change?
