Hi all
I asked a few questions here last year as part of my prep for a Cape to Cairo and appreciated the help. I wrote my first bike off before getting out of Wellington (!) so had to postpone the South Africa bit of trip (had 3 days to get from Wellington to Bulawayo).
So i am heading back this Christmas to do the South African bit I missed. My question is whether I need my satellite communicator (in case of accident/breakdown) or whether cell phone coverage is sufficient? I am hoping to ride Baviaanskloof and then get over to Lesotho to ride the Sani Pass.
Appreciate your thoughts (as if not needed will sell it now, but if it is needed i'll hold onto it until after my trip).
