Hein Eksteen lives by a simple motto: it’s not an adventure until something goes wrong, and things tend to go wrong quite a bit for Hein and his trusty old KLR650. In this series of motorcycle travel tales, he tells in his own unique Spike Millgan-like style of his plights into the deepest, darkest lands of Southern Africa, usually ill-equipped and completely unprepared, exactly as he likes it.
