Airbox cover left side fitment

Hi all, I removed a DNA filter and fitted a stock airbox lid however the bottom right hand corner is not "clipping" into the rubber groove on the airbox. Please see pics, is this a problem - yours the same ? The cover is not from my bike originally but cannot think that will be a problem ? The blue is waterproof grease, should I remove it again and silicone for a better seal ? About a mm to 2mm gap in that one area. Groove and surrounding area is clean.
