My husband and I are coming over from Canada and renting a couple of GSs (700/800) in Windhoek this July and camping all around Namibia and Botswana. We have a route fairly planned out, but any advice would be appreciated.
We are planning to ride the C44 over the Dobe border crossing into Botswana and continue on the M74 to Nokaneng. I am wondering about the road conditions in July on the Botswana side. We want to make it to Maun from the border in one day. I'm okay on dirt, but not an expert by any means.
