Nice Ohlins .... thanks Mark  ;)
So, now we have a small problem!
The swing arm / drive boot fouls on the frame at full extension down - for the shock.
Mmmmmmmmm .........

I will replace the rings when I get a chance.  :thumleft:
In the meantime, anybody know of anybody that has & can make a threading tool to re-thread / clean the outlet port threads on the heads?
Would love to clean my threads up before I use my new rose bolts / fittings!

Decided on Anakee Wild back & front.
Relaced the back rim to increase the off set - Managed to get about 8mm

Anakee Wild on the back as well.
I decided to spray the final drive & rear hud with VTH high heat clear - the corrosion in Durban is just so much of a hassle !!!
Nayhow - it looks great & not too shiny..

Better go for a few spelling lessons - just trying to bang a few pics out quick quick......
Needed to extend the rear mudguard under the seat. SparkMark gave a nice example of how he did this on his excellent build  :thumleft:
Measured, taped, nmeasured again ....  :spitcoffee:

Made up a bracket to go under the batter box & result is the mounts are too short.
Made some from some solid door stops I found.
Coming together & finished product looks nice  :thumleft:

Then I get a call from IanB ....
Hey, you forgot to close the breather / water drain hole in the filter box... !!   :o
The whole lot comes out & two tap washers later with a lock nut etc, closed for good. Not keen on sucking any dust in here - straight into the carbs....   :P  :3some:
Buy the way Ian, when I pulled the batt box out to do this I found that I had not pinched up the 3 mounting bolts for the air box at all .........  :peepwall:
So, Have a close look and you will see IanB's plug......    ;)

So here we are.
Both wheel on, mudguard in, slowly coming together.
It takes so much time when you have to make up bits & pieces ........

Quite fortunate here with my timing.
IanB did a DRZ fork upgrade on his G80gs project & had a complete R100gs front assembly already done up & on his GS.
So, I snapped up the opportunity & bought his whole front-end complete. Hence the tubless rim & upgraded disc etc.
So its a refurbed R100GS front end.  :thumleft: & IanB only does things well & properly ....  :peepwall:
