So i decided to open up the std exhaust and take a look why the bike is so quite. Flip its a big job. All the rivets need to be drilled out and then the box needs to be pulled apart, i eventually used my 4x4 to pull the inner out using my recovery straps, they really fit it in there tightly!!!!

The exhaust is very restricted inside, i have decided to trim about 30% of the internal muffler section out 1st, its a little deeper in sound and im happy with the results, the European guys seem to gut it out completely inside but im sure that is one step to far. Riveting it all back together and re fitting was easy. All in all it cost me nothing, only a few hours of labor at the work bench. I might remove the cat down the line, for now im satisfied.
