I would like to have Googlemaps (including satellite images) for specific area - for example Lesotho with me even, if there is no signal to stay online. I understand one can download specific area in Googlemaps for offline use (please correct me if I'm wrong).
If possible, I would like to buy small tablet to be used on trips, and I would like to have googlemaps on it for offline use. Did anybody here done something like that successfully? And if yes, which tablet works best - I assume Apple products are not going to be the best for googlemaps - correct?
