Hi Chris
Thanks, this looks like something to consider as I and I am sure many other 690 owners do have range issues.  Do you perhaps have some photos of it mounted to the bike, and weight wise how much added weight are we looking at. I would also please like to know what the cost would be.
Thanks
Mario

Hi Mario
COST: the racks cost R
the 5L fuel cell costs R399.
the fuel spout cost R99.
the fuel-cell mounting plate costs R500.

that's pretty much it.

WEIGHT:
the rack weighs just under 4kg, and is well supported by 4 bolts on top, and then uses pillion foot-peg hanger left and right.
the fuel cell itself weighs 1kg
the fuel-cell mounting plate weighs 950g..
then the weight of 5L of fuel, ROUGHLY around 5kg, though the experts will chime in with the technical weight of actual fuel...!

Pictures of it mounted to follow...
Cheers

Thanks Chris, this could defenitely be a great solution on my 690.
Could also just give me the price on the pannier racks included. (full system). I will also need a luggage plate, so would the pannier racks have a luggage plate as well?
Thanks for your help!
