I've got a biggish trip coming up in April - 10 days round trip to the EC and back.
I'm looking for some info on Baviaanskloof. We'll be leaving Patensie area and riding through to Matjiesfontein farm in one day. Seems a bit short and easy to me so I wanna do some site seeing along the way and this is where I need some info from the WDs. What to go see? Any minor routes/tracks worth going down? There will be a back-up vehicle carrying all our shit so the bikes will be light.
Another thing, on the way to Graaf-Reinet I see there's an Erasmuskloof Pass and Elandskloof Pass. Are bikes allowed on this road/track?
From Baviaans we'll be heading past Angies G Spot and through the 7 passes to George - any good camping spots in the George area? Next day we're off to Die Hel.
Any special watering holes we should be stopping at?
Our main route is pretty much cast in stone but any suggestions are welcome.
