Has anyone had issues with an 800XC starter?
I have one in the shop that turns over with great difficulty, almost as though the battery is not fully charged or flat.
Charged battery overnight, and still won't turn over. Replaced the battery with a new one and still no change. Even coupled up my big booster pack without any difference.
I am suspecting the starter itself, but it's a bitch to get out and would be a waste of time if it was not faulty.
Can only buy the complete starter from Triumph (no, there is not even a part number for a brush kit) at R11230.00.
