Our WildWood Eastern Cape Tour went through on April 29th. 
We were 2 x 990R's. A Harley XR1200, 1190R, Husqvarna 701 and 3 x 690's. Stories of the terrible state of the pass made us cautious and we sent the Harley the long way round but I'm sure the big boy would have been fine. He'd done Bastervoetpad, Devils Bellows and Katberg earlier in the day without even a stall. Just keep momentum and pick a decent line and you'll have no issues.

My son and I ended up upside down on that pass a couple years ago. 1150 just not the tool with passenger and luggage. Turned back and missed our night in Hogsback.
Now the plastic loves that stuff..

Wow, seeing those pictures and then reading that someone rode a Harley there almost changes my opinion about Harleys.  Almost.

But my unreserved respect to the rider!

Did this with Wildwood a few years ago, was quite rough then too.
