Sooooooooooo Peet posted this : http://www.wilddog.za.net/forum/index.php?topic=206899.msg3789747#msg3789747

I said...F*** good price. Contacted him about numbers and this morning I traded in my 2016 Red for the 2017 White....  :thumleft: and so Wit Hings is now in my garage.

So off the bat, the noticeable difference are:

1. 2017 gearbox is definitely an improvement - much quieter and smoother gear change.
2. 2017 motor is quieter - BMW confirmed this as well and the power output remains the same.
3. Kak reflectors on front forks (new EU requirement ) - will be taken off this weekend.
4. New cluster - looks much nicer.....but hold on...
5. Indicators are now just one LED, for both left and Right....not a fan of this and preferred the 2016 indicators. So now when activating hazards the red triangle flashes (first time it happened I though WTF!) to show you have your hazards on...- something to get use to.
5. New bike, new 1000km run in - ok, so not really a difference, just need to rant about it  :ricky:

Looking to trade up or get a GS? definitely contact Peet...very happy with my prime less 2  :deal:

Now to re-install all my extra's

Thanks all!!

2 more observations

6. The suspension feels much better...dont know why, but it does.
7. The indicator switch off timer is about half the time shorter.

2017 GSA is net 'n great bike - ek kom van 'n 2015 GS af - en die verskil in die ratkas is hemelsbreed vir my.

Saam met die standaard quickshifter en 'n akro pyp - man oh man  :laughing4: :thumleft:

Congrats, many happy (s)miles!

Regarding the single indicator indicator on the dash... I guess they has to sacrifice something to make space for the MIL lamp, as is required on all new vehicles too. Well, it that or redesign the instrument panel for the extra new light. Guess they took the "quicker time to market" route.

(MIL = Malfunction Indicator Lamp - that orange "check engine" light')
