Was invited to go along on this trip with a Boland croud of DS riders. Lekka bunch of oaks with lots of k@k praat and good stories. Some pics of the karoo full of flowers and two stunning passes.
The flowers
The Gannaga pass. This road leads up the escarpment towards Middelpos, a small town with a hotel and copshop two houses.
Just before the Ouberg pass
Just before on the way down Ouberg pass.
Route was over Ceres to the Karoo poort up the Calvinia road, right to Middelpos, then east to Sutherland. Sleep over and then back via the Ouberg pass, back to the Ceres Calvinia road, over Bains kloof, and home.
We did about 800 km of witch 500km was all gravel used about 49 lit of petrol = 16 k's to liter
