Prys is goed though.

Thanks Tok-tokkie. Thus far I have only come accross the larger manufacturers. Will continue digging.

Is it this wire - http://www.beadalon.com/bead_stringing_wire/beadalon_bead_stringing_wire_7_strand.asp

How does it react to heat, especially with the nylon coating?
With the correct resistance calculated for a comfort heat setting the nylon coating will not melt .
I have done my grips with trial and error that after 2 mins it is too hot to keep your hands on the grips and the coating did not melt after getting the correct resistance for the correct heat my grips is 2 years on the bike now and no problems
I added 2  pics of the strand unfortunately the packet label is lost but the link in your post is the correct wire, just source it from Beads direct Irene or beads for you in Pta North Ninapark

I measured the ohm rating to match that to the BM ..1.28m = 19ohm

Thanks Rocketeer, much appreciated.

Luckily I came right. I re-wired the heated grips today and they work perfectly.
