You have tubeless and a shaft, I would remove the centre stand. This is what the Rallye should be. Less electronics and proper suspension. Nice, the ultimate GS. I would love to take this on some technical routes. I love BMW but its tough to chose an LC above an 1190, this is a different story though.

I understood that's what it is. i.e the Ralley has the GSA suspension.  Why are we getting the lower versions now?

Only the first batch is without the raised suspension.
But as I have it, it includes some self levelling trickery and stuff as well. And then all the ride modes and a 240k price tag. Not many will actually use a R240k bike for what it is capable off.

That price tag is exactly why I did this mod. Would luv the Rallye but don't need all those new electronics.

This setup works perfectly.

Going to properly test it tomorrow at the Adventure Riders SA Skills Challenge at ADA.  :thumleft:

Preaching to the choir hey, I bought a Trophy Edition for that same reason. So even more basic. Don't NEED the electrickery although nice to have, but not willing to pay that much for them.

Hey BK, You mentioned GS and GSA shocks?

WILBERS DYNAMIC WESA comes in various forms, for the R1200GS LC ESA model it has two varieties:
Normal Height (the same as the OEM system) then 35mm and 70mm Lowering
For the R1200GS LC Adventure ESA model it also has four slightly different versions:
Normal Height (the same as the OEM system) then 35mm, 55mm Lowering and 80mm Lowering

Does this mean if I get the current Rally (GS suspension) I can fit the GSA WESA and have a little more height to end up with the rally sport suspension ?

Apparently that is the only difference between the std Rally and the Rally sport (sport will also come with off-road tyres and Acro pipe I believe)

BMW 1150 Adventure (gone)
BMW HP 2 (gone)
Ducati 500 Pantah (gone)
1200 LC Trophy Edition (gone)
BMW R 1200 Rallye, Husqvarna 701 Enduro

Not according to Denver, I asked for the higher spec and said it couldn't be done.
