Where can one buy high-res satellite maps of specific areas?

I am trying to get offline satellite maps of certain areas such as Lesotho or southern Botswana. I would like to get similar detail as available on Google Maps/Earth. i need to be able to use this offline and I know I can cache some of the imagery from those for free. But that just doesn't work as one cannot just simply designate area and have it downloaded.

I have downloaded Landsat 8 images from USGS website, but they are way lower resolution than the ones on google.

So the question is - is it possible to buy somewhere high resolution satellite images of certain areas?
