Hi All,
This is my first post on the forum, so I guess formalities are in order;
I'm from Cape Town, ride a couple of bikes, but love my battered XT500 the most
Not sure if this is the right thread, but here goes.
I've been messing about with the idea of doing a couple of wild camping/bush camping missions around the Western Cape and Northern Cape, and I'm amazed at how little accessible natural landscape is left in SA! So this kind of inspired me to start finding places where I can make one day overnight camping possible.
Don't know if anyone has attempted to do this? And off-coarse no one shares lekker spots on the internet, just wondered if anyone else has done this locally?
Side note, the idea is to leave everything as you found it, no open fires, and take all your rubbish back with you... Also not on private land - unless you've done some prior arrangement with the owners.
I'm also keen to let people know of the spots I've found via PM on a sort of trade your spot manner...
Anyways, keen to hear opinions!
