The brand is not important, the fact that you ride is.

Well that horizon is pretty huge at the moment, meanwhile KTM are popping bikes out like they are on the dole. This bike leaves the 310 dead in the water if you ask me

Yeah I definitely agree on all fronts.
My wife is dead set on a 310GS when they come out though. Then there is the 390 Adventure on the horizon.

I was seriously considering this, but opted for the 2016 model rather. (On special now too for 59k, so I could add a few powerparts)

In my opinion, too many electronics on this bike, which I am not sure how I would be able to maintain it long term.

I could do with the bigger fuel tank that the 2017 offers though..

I can only find Indian reviews so far and although I watch and enjoy them, it's a little out of context. Phrases like 'big single', 'beast' and 'loads of power' probably won't be used when it's reviewed by other markets. Either way it sounds like there are quite a few little improvements which add up over all

btw, I have done a test drive on one of the previous models and that motor/chassis combination is brilliant.
Only downside for me was, being used to adventure bike seating position, I would have preferred the pegs lower and forward.

Also rode it and yeah it's a sweet little bike. Bike show mentioned they might do a small bike head to head when the 310 comes. Would like to see a Z300, 310, 390 shootout. There is an MT03 in overseas markets as well

I took one for a ride around Cape Point a few weeks ago.
Had an absolute blast on it.
Great city bike.
The seating position isn't as extreme as i thought it would be - so easy on the wrists and back.
