Gydo, Mitchell's, Bain's Klof (wow!), Franschhoek, Theewaterskloof passes... ended up in Gansbaai at the backpackers and right now chowing down on a seafood feast at the harbour. With a lekker bottle of wine and a pretty waitress.... what more could I ask for?

Right so had to give the ribs a bit more of a break so klapped some tar passes wherever the wind blew me ...fok ...and did the wind blow.

Spent the day easing around  Gansbaai on foot. This solo riding with no plan is really beginning to grow on me...just a little bit: D
Breakfast at Guiseppe's

Pretty waistress...although she seemed to be trying very hard to avoid the old perv attempting to get a fodie of her gorgeous gunrack
Pics from a tidal pool where I spent most of the day
...said ugly old perv...took the pic by accident, but hell how blue is that sky?!?

Anyways...now it is time for braai.
Had a bit of a disagreement with the butcher about whether this piece of vleis was really ribeye...he eventually managed to convince me that at 79rhondts seffrican, wtf was I complaining about. Argument done and dusted
Had to remove some of that tough sheath and beat the meat (errrrmmm ...well) to tenderise a bit, and it looks pretty edible
Should go down well with some fresh asparagus and big brown mushrooms cooked over the coals6gun grill, freshly stolen lemon and scotch marinade
...and this view...

Ah man, that is the life.  O0

Also if you ever pass through Gouda - Vaalbaas is the butcher there - his chili bites are LEGEND and his braai packs are excellent :drif:

Spent the last few days dodging rain, lazing round on the beach and getting back into spending the day in the saddle.

Was raining when I left Gansbaai so I bailed on facing the red snot around Die Dam and slabbed it through to Bredasdorp...where the rain was also still coming down.
Plans to ride through Malgas changed and I headed up to Suurbraak, Barrydale, Oudtshoorn and down the Trodouw Pass (?) into George and then to Glentana where a friend of mine has a house that I got to lend
