Sobering thought....my GF's folks farming neighbor (also related) was out for a walk with his family on his farm (not a game farm)...he and his adult son were killed by a pair of wildebeest they came across.

Thems lucky folks in that vid

WOW!!!! you did good  :thumleft:

I am not so sure they did good.

They should have stopped and switched their bikes off and given it a chance to leave the road, instead of riding right up behind it.

But all's well that ends well  :thumleft:

And they got a cool bit of video footage out of it.
How can I be lost if I've got nowhere to go?

A person from Stellenbosch were killed by a buffalo in the Baviaans a few years ago.

Those guys on the bikes were wrong to pursue that animal, they are notoriously short-tempered, with strenght and bulk to back it up.

It's pivot-turn and off I go. :ricky:

Agreed, they were actually rather stupid to follow that beast up that climb and were lucky to get away with it without injuries (or death).
Present bikes: BETA 300RR, KTM 690, Yamaha WR250F

Agree.   As daai buffel regtig befok was het hy die bikes en die ouens vermorsel.  'n Befokte buffel sal aanhou vermorsel tot daar niks oor is nie.  Hierdie een wou net wegkom. .
