Pete those are magic but so much have changed. You wont get that bunch of folks together again. Marriage kids money bikeless etc..

For sure...however it's an example of no matter how simple you make it there are still fundamentals to work out.
It was a great crew though hey!  8)

:sip: The last bash at RD I booked my Chalet and organized my own meals and had a very good time, Jeff and others brought their merchandise, and the guy that arranged the T-shirts had some frustration (so don't do them)
I took a route home with Off-shore to Willowmore and really enjoyed it. It's all about meeting the fellow Dogs. And really few venues can beat River Destiny with the amount of accommodation and the pub and the restaurant. And there are some good shops very close by.
Yamaha 50, Yamaha 400, 2 x Yamaha DR 350 LC, Honda CBX 550 F2, Honda TransAlp 650, Triumph Tiger 800 Xc,
Now 2015 Triumph Tiger 800 Xcx.and.. my favorite... 1996 Yamaha Tenere 660 5 valve single.

That Molopo venue looks lekker.  My vote is for that area somewhere. Equally far for most okes.

I will ride anywhere.
The choices seem somewhat limiting in your survey drol.
I have equal affection for mountains and cold close to eastern FS or southern Drakensberg than for dry Northern Cape regions.
I think the dealmaker will be a decent enough lodge with good amenities and capacity for 150+ campers

That said it would be nice to experience a new venue
Can anyone post a list of previous venues?
