BMW Rally Crashbars **NEW**
« on: May 20, 2017, 11:26:47 am »
Hi guys. So here are two photos of the new crashbars we are producing for the new BMW 1200 models.

As the new models have different front panels some if not most of the older style crashbars wont fit on them and if they do the lines are all completely different. So here is our new take on the crashbars.

They will be sold as a complete sets protecting the cylinder heads in our standard Rockfox style and also the upper plastics.

They will be on show at the Bike Festival and will be on sale for order from our stand. Or you can drop me an email for any pre orders.

Price is standard R4100 for the full set in either black or silver.

Please note we will have a price increase after the show. Any orders placed between now and the show will be on the above mentioned price before the increase.

Looks like the top cross bar might conflict with BMW LED spots (with BMW bracket) and the lower bars look very close to the tappet covers so might not be able to fit tappet cover protectors. Just saying as it is difficult to see from  the photo exactly how close everything is.

Hi Mayhem. Our crashbars actually come pre built with spotlight mounting holes. You would remove the bmw spotlight bracket then attach the spotlights directaly to the crashbars.

As for the tappet cover protectors i cannot vouch for them. I know of one that does fit and they can be bought from gogravel. I cannot say anything about other makes as we have not tested all of them. Mostly when our crashbars are fitted they do not also fit cylinder head covers as the crashbars offer good protection.  But i do understand that some people want the double protection.

I would love some feedback on that though

Looks great Mike.
What about a blue option like the Subframe?
What I like about your bars on both the 800 and the gs was the black ones that match the Subframe finish.

Hi Omninorm,

I can have that colour matched as close as possible from my powder coaters. We have made crashbars in different colours in the past, in my honest opinion it looks a bit odd.but i have no problem doing it.

Yeah I see now... doesn't look as good as the silver or black. In my head it looked better. But might look good on the Ralley?
