Motoradical :thumleft: :thumleft:

Do not get Trax. Not made for gravel, overhang to much so it rattles a lot.
I have fitted Motorradical side panniers. I'm not sure why everyone raves about them. The workmanship is really crap on them. The brackets are rusty and a dull color. The covers on the locks just break off easily. I would have rather spent R5000 more on BMW panniers IMHO. Without the pannier on, it looks like i found that bracket somewhere in a junk yard and fitted an old crasher/bracket to my brand new bike lol

Has anybody fitted a BMW OEM adventure topbox to a normal GS model yet? What type of bracket is required? Can one buy aftermarket, not via BMW? Or even have it manufactured?

>if you are talking the pre-Liquid Cooled models, then we have a fair number of customers - say around 10 - that have done it.
You find a 1200GSA stainless steel luggage rack, an UNBENT one ! - and that bolts right up the the non-Adventure 1200 oil-head...
(so there is no 'bracket' needed, JUST the box and the rack...)
then just 4 bolts attach the GSA OEM box to the OEM GSA rack.
You do have the choice of two positions, high or low, but in truth their is not much difference, and we prefer lower position, obviously.
been waiting 2+ months for a rack to come up; we quite regularly supply/fit the PANNIER racks, which are more freely available, but the LUGGAGE rack usually comes off a wrecked bike, either motor is wrecked or else bike written off.
Shout if we can help.

Thanks for the response Chris! I have a LC. Have you done anything similar on a LC?
