yes, they are rather tall...

please be aware we usually sell UP TO 30mm raisers for guys who are really quite tall, this SPECIFIC pair was height-adjustable to give 3 pre-determined height settings, and you have it on the HIGHEST setting...

Whilst probably safe enough on-road, high raisers DO change the handling characteristics of a bike OFF-road, and you should exercise caution, especially until you get used to them.

Hi Chris, finding them great so far. Fitment was easy and all the standard cables reach without problems. I haven't been off road much with them yet, but they make standing sooo much more comfortable for me (I'm 183cm's tall). I did find that if set to the lower position, they clash slightly with the standard fitting below them. I have played around with various different angles, and am most comfortable with them set up the way they are shown above, both sitting and standing. Can't wait to try them out on a proper dirt ride soon...
