I recently got a 2006 650 transalp and coming from a DRZ a few things seem odd.

Firstly at low speed +- 10km/h the bike does not counter-steer but rather turns in on its own with leaning. My DRZ and my father's 700 transalp don't do this. Neither has any other bike I have ever ridden.
I don't think this is normal but I have no idea how to fix it.

In addition to this the bike feels very low. I know its a touring bike but is there any way to lift it a bit. I do not notice any sag in the suspension that can be taken out and the forks only protrude a few mm from the triple clamps.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
