Just sharing experience - Neutral light on when using the clutch

Had the problem on a customer bike, neutral light works as it should, goes off when selecting a gear but the neutral light comes on when using the clutch lever. Another side effect is that when the bike is in gear it cannot be started even when the clutch is in and side stand retracted.
Traced the problem to the diode box near the fuse box, removed it and temporarily placed diodes into the plug to test - all good now.
