I've been wondering about this issue for some time and after replying to krokenoster's post I thouth I'd start this thread.
As someone with an addiction to bikes I have over the years refused to add farkles to bikes as I sell them too often and then lose out.
But having recently added a few scratch marks to my bike which could have been avoided I took the plunge and added some protective products.
I do not want to make this thread bike specific.
My question is :
1. what on your bike did you add out of functionality and what is a farkle to you?
2. what products did you choose and where did you buy them?
3. What other products would you like to see in our local market?
My requirements when getting the bike sorted was - affordability (as these items are bound to get a proper working), functionality, robustness and quality.
To get this going I won't mention my preferred products now, but would love to hear from you.
And post some pics of your bike and the work done by what you have fitted!
