Looking at renting a bike as I currently don't have a bike and want to join friends on a trip this weekend. Need some help please.
Plan is to leave Friday morning and return Sunday. Mixed bunch of guys so probably 50/50 tar and gravel. 650 to 800cc would be ideal I think. (a 250 rally is probably going to frustrate the other riders

From a forum search (1 & 2) I found two places:

They have an 800GS (a bit scared of soft rims and suspension on gravel?)

The XT660Z or R looks good. They seem to be linked to linex yamaha although based in Randburg which is far from me.
Any recommendations on the above?
