Having owned the Dakar for exactly 10yrs this month I think it is time for something "new" - can be 2nd hand as well 
I was going to buy a KTM 950 SE but I snoozed to long and the bike was sold so I'm keeping my eyes open and looking at different options as well.
So can someone please give a short run down of what to look out for in terms of KTM 950, KTM 990, etc, differences in year models and models like S or R etc.
I really like the 950 and 990 I'm not really a fan of the 1190 but funny enough I like the new 1090 :-/
I have not yet made up my mind I'm also looking at the Tiger 800 and the new Africa Twin and the 1090. I would love a new bike but I absolutely hate working with dealers and having to take my bike into a dealership so that is one thing the 950, 990 has over the new bikes.
