Accountabillity

One for all the law savvy among us. I bought a 2008 R 1200 GSA admittedly with high mileage but she is a looker, anyway the add said the bike is "mechanically sound, Excellent Condition, Runs like a dream, Start and go". all of which the bike did for only 450 km after which she promptly went and bent the lower outlet valve in the right cylinder! I am all in into this GSA which is something I have longed for, but now my dream bike is turning into a real nightmare. My question is can I now hold the seller liable for repairs? If so can you please suggest someone that can fight this fight for me?
