All of the Ducati Group - the deal is still not confirmed 100% but even if it is true it has been stated they will remain separate brands.

There are a few interested parties in purchasing the brand from VW.

Lets hope this work out better for Ducati than it did for Buell

I remember them saying "They are going to focus on their core clients and business". Which is the cruiser market and not racing and sports bikes (ie. the end of Buell)

There are quite a few possible buyers.  Hero Honda from India.  Bajaj.  Suzuki.  Harley Davidson just makes for the best jokes!

Can you imagin the shock and horror
A sleek aerodynamic HD Slimboy
no floorboads! no shoestrings! decent twin motor, that actually turns petrol into speed, which goes like the clappers! and sounds like a motoGP Panagale at full taps might just be the first Harly I would buy

A while back, when Harley Davidson owned Aermacchi they had a short, but successful while it lasted period of Grand Prix racing. Even won a lightweight class world championship if I remember.

Imagine that, "Harley Davidson" and "lightweight" in the same context!  :o
Succumb not to the erosion of those born of unconsecrated union.

2021 a milestone. 60 years a biker.

I remember those 250 "Harley Davidson" 2strokes, with the front sprocket doubling up as the rear disc brake.

From Wikipedia:

"Aermacchi began producing motorcycles after World War II.

In 1960, US business Harley-Davidson motorcycles purchased 50% of Aermacchi's motorcycle division.
The remaining motorcycle holdings were sold in 1974 to AMF-Harley-Davidson, with motorcycles continuing to be made at Varese.
The business was sold to Cagiva in 1978."
Life is far too short to be taken too seriously.

Aermacchi, like Buell, was seemingly strangled by HD.
