As a lawyer or doctor heads overseas, there’s offten conversions in the qualifications needed, or completely new qualifications or licenses are needed to comply. Did you have to do anything like this?

Did you have to do anything like this?I believe that is the case with engineers, doctors etc. and it also depends what province you work in (TheAnt may chime in here with more details) I did not have to, since I have never had a job in Canada where I needed any qualifications other than grade 12. Blue collar workers here make good coin with no education. The Canadians believe very strongly in "on the job training". I have 2 young kids on my crew, 20 and 22, they both make over $80,000. If they keep showing up at work on time and don't piss too many people off, they could be making $100,000 in the next 4 years.
I was chatting to an attorney the other day, young guy, and mentioned overseas opportunities for him...nada...nil. He would have to study again as the law systems are completely different. I asked about a bridging course but he was a negative on that. Maybe someone knows something?
