Still have a lot to do. Once the painting is done, it will be flooring, trim, then bathroom tiles, and then the kitchen. I am really struggling to juggle work, family, farm and building. But I have to stay focused and not rush and make mistakes

Hang in there, Immigrant.

Sounds as if you have a lot on your plate, slow n steady wins the race.

It's going to be amazing, whether you get it done in 2 more months or 6 months.

I hear you, but I promised my kids they will open Christmas presents in front of the fireplace.  :-\

Tools are relatively cheap here, and they have a tool for everything too. And with wood all you need is a good mitre saw and a square and you could get a lot done.

Thanks for the encouragement!! My wife thinks you just waive a magic wand and everything just falls in place.
The kitchen worked out perfectly.
We made some really good progress. I had a friend come over and help with the flooring. He apparently is very good at it. One step closer to complete

But I have a little issue. I installed a new furnace in the addition thinking the old furnace will not keep up with the added square footage. And I added some horsepower just to be safe. Now the 2 furnaces are "fighting" each other. The one heats the "old house and basement" and the other the "addition and crawlspace". Both the thermostats are on the main floor, at opposite ends of the house. But it seems they are sensing the heat from one another. So if the one in the "addition" kicks in, it heats up the whole main floor, and the "old" furnace does not kick in and leaves the basement cold. When the "old" furnace kicks in it heats the main floor and basement, but leaves the crawlspace cold. It is impossible to rewire the whole lot. I would have to somehow install a wireless remote thermostat in either the basement or crawlspace and eliminate one of the thermostats on the main floor.
