Yoh check how thick the snow is on that roof  :eek7:

It must weigh a lot. Do you have to shovel it off the roof or do you just leave it to melt by itself?

We just leave it.  It's really slippery up there, and too much work. The trusses are engineered and spaced accordingly to handle the load ( I hope  8))

We barely made it out before a 30cm snowstorm hit. A few hours later, and we're swinging the clubs

I always wanted to see Vegas, but I will never come here again. People here had the life sucked right out of them. Walking zombies pissing away their money on machines and tables designed and programmed  to make you lose. I am not sure of the economy is the cause of it, but things are generally run down and unkept. I guess the people here don't care for that. All they see is slot machines . At least the golfing is good, but it will take a while to wash the Vegas stink off of me.

Agreed, Vegas just is not what it was 40 years ago. If you want to go to Nevada try Reno, smaller and better kept the last time I went by. None is the same since they took out the mechanical one armed bandits. Just a bunch of zombies staring at a screen and pushing money into it.

Farming is enough of a gamble so I don't need more.

Live should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but  rather a slide in sideways, chocolate in one hand, wine in the other, body totally worn out and screaming "Woo Hoo what a ride"

I'd never really been into a casino before. Went to the grandwest one here in Cape Town about 10 years ago, and ended up with exactly the same impression that you've verbalised here. Sad place, sad people.....

Have never been into another one.

Niks so lekker as om op vars sneeu te loop nie.  Daai kraak geluid onder die voete is lekker....maar daai tyd as dit so 'n modder pappery gemors is is dit nie lekker nie.

I WOULD RATHER BE AN HONEST ASSHOLE .... THAN A FLIPPEN LIAR !

Korrek. Dit smelt nou vinnig hier. Moes rondom die huis sneeu weg stoot om te verhoed dat die water langs die huis in loop. Die "backfill" van laas jaar se aanbou het nog nie ge "settle" nie

Shame. The poor bokkies. They are struggling to find food in the deep snow.
