Enough shop talk tell us where you spending your 3 weeks and what kind of fish you catching. What area you dragging that caravan bigger than my house too
We fish mainly for Northern Pike or Walleye. The walleye taste way better, but the pike is more fun to catch. A lot more aggressive and they put up a good fight

I live within a 100km of two provincial parks, so we usually camp in one of them. They provide water, free fire wood and maintain basic ablution facilities. Same camp sites have power, but they are too busy. We choose the camp sites with more basic facilities that people generally avoid because the want the powered sites. The sites are right on the lake and we park our boats right next to the camper. The lake is crystal clear with sandy bottoms so the boats stay in the lake all the time we are there

My son is a little weird. He sometimes just walks around in his MX gear....

WOW - that's nice!

How much do they charge to camp? Is it cheap/expensive in your terms?

$17 per night non electric. $25 (maybe a little more) for electric. The camp site is cheap. But "camping" is not cheap, once you factor in the cost of the camper, the truck to pull it, generator, boat, petrol, insurance on it all etc.

That looks absolutely superb, although you seem to be blurring the lines between camping and moving your house around on wheels  ;)  :thumleft:

Black bear hier by ons. Grizzlies is meer Rockies se kant toe.

A damn fine looking Pike. Luckily he got the rod stuck between the rail and the chair, otherwise my rod would have been gone.
WhenI saw what was happening the fish was swimming under the boat and the rod tip was damn near touching the reel. "Daddy, I think I got a fish....."  :eek7:
I was proud as fuck of course
