Do you get bears where you live...?

Some parents are paranoid about kids being on their own in the wood with bears about.
It’s a concern, but me and my Czechoslovakian friend keep a close eye.....

What calibre is your Czech friend?

What calibre is your Czech friend?

.375 H&H. But they typically run away long before they become a threat. It’s the “tame” ones hanging around dumpsters and garbage cans at campsites that become a problem.

Yes, it’s still cold. Dropping to -8C at night and +6C during the day.

Their thumbs got a little tired on the way back.....

What an incredible lifestyle your kids are leading!  :thumleft:

Enjoy them while they are still young though...  :ricky:
Young enough to know I can, old enough to know I shouldn't, stupid enough to do it anyway.

It is these times that you spend with your kids that help them build a bond with you that can never be broken! :thumleft:
Hats off to them for doing such a long ride.

Rub it in Mr. Zog  ;)...this winter has to stop. I can’t handle the bike withdrawal any longer. At least the snow suppressed the fire hazard a bit.

Finally got around to finish my braai. Just in time for @chillin_in_bots to come for a steak and some beer next weekend!

When it  stops dropping to minus temps at night I can plant some grass and some flowers, then we are ready for summer
