Anodizing

Is it possible to give anodizing a bit of a shine? I had my fork tubes done but they are a bit dull. This could be due to the ali not being  'pure' enough.

Yip , they can , but the material needs to be polished to a mirror finish , your fork tubes are more than likely a casting so they will be dull .

Ok.......if that is the case, is it possible to give the now anodized tubes a clear coat finish to make it pop a bit?

What color did you anodize TK?  I heard that black can be brightened by a rubbing it with a bit of clean oil.  I am sure the Rustoleum clear lacquer that I use on natural aluminium will brighten it up a bit.

I did do it in blue. Maybe I'm just being picky. Mind you, the anodizer did mention putting some oil on. I have however noticed that depending on the quality of the ali and the pre-polishing of the ali  will determine the  bling effect.
