It's time for a new rear tyre. The big H recommends a 140/80 - 17 and I found an E-07 in that dimension at Rocket in Pinetown. Seems like an unusual size with most of the more modern bikes using a 150/70 profile.
I'm sure the E-07 will work OK, have used them before on other bikes but the question is - Will a 150/70 profile fit the 3.00 rim and be useful? Any hot 1994 Africa Twin tyre insights appreciated. I use the bike in a
50/50 way - tarmac and easy to moderate gravel where a bit of tyre life is a must. For the other stuff I ride XR's and NC.
