Found this pub cum pizza place called the Boath House (S34 21.075 E20 35.694) on the Breede River, about 5km downstream from the Malgas ferry (die pont).
It is nestled between the river and the road and owned by Carl Alberts and his wife Mel. He is a serious chopper pilot specialising in Russian conversions and also rides a Africa Twin (pic at the bottom with die Rooi Muil).
It is good ds country especially for those wanting to do "personal bests" on the straight and hardpacked stretches (a bit of a crook, but what). To keep it interesting there are lots of loose gravelly patches, draaie and, when I visited, mud.
Carl is very bike (ds) friendly and together with a neighbour they can put up around 16 bikers on a weekend. You rent the cottages, therefore the more you are, the merrier it gets money wise.
