New service, available from Flying Brick, 01st August:
From Tuesday, 01st August, the Flying Brick Fitment Center will be offering the installation of Tyre Shield Tyre Sealant to all bikes, whether booked in for a product fitment, or not…
Tyre Shield is an Australian ISO-accredited product, used in BOTH Tubeless and Tubed tyres.
It is compatible on bikes with TPMS (tyre pressure monitoring systems)
Typically, 100ml in the FRONT tyres, and 150ml in REAR tyres: it has no effect on the tyre balancing, other than that your wheels should be in any case balanced BEFORE addition of tyre shield.
Will seal puncturing holes (not snakebites’) made in the tread area, up to 6mm on tubeless and 3mm on tubed tyres.
Does not affect tyre or rim properties.
We apply it in or Fitment Center – typically it takes 30 minutes, including re-inflation of the tyres to the pressure they were at…
3 options:
1. Tyre Shield + service fee for one set of wheels (1 x front, 1 x rear) – R375
2. Tyre Shield + service fee for one set of wheels (1 x front, 1 x rear) when getting product fitted to bike – R300
3. Additionally, for people needing to get Tyre Shield for a bike they cannot bring in (or simply wish to do themselves), we sell the products: Tyre shield bottle 250ml - R270 incl.
