Mgwalana Pass

Odds are that no Wild Dogs member has ridden this pass - mainly because it's so obscure. In our news release today we head off to Cala and take a dirt road to the Mgwalana Pass, which offers incredibly scenic views and some interesting riding over typically rutted old Transkei roads, but the effort of getting there will give you a glimpse of life in the true rural Eastern Cape, where the Nguni are shiny and healthy. Watch out for sheep, goats, dogs, chickens and people on the road.
