911RIDE
The purpose of this ride is raise much needed support to farm-murders and rural safety.
SAPS/GOV does not allow for a separate category/classing of murder BUT the consequences of these act of violence has a far deeper reach than just "a farmer"
Agriculture is a mayor role-player in employment and economy. And each commercial farmer provides for the food of 1500 persons.
Farming is the most dangerous occupation in SA.
THE PLAN - 911RIDE will ride ALL nine provinces; interact with SAPS, community and victims. Collect signatures in support of a memorandum handed to SAPS, from local station level to provincial structure and last to the National Commissioner AND the Minister of Police.
THE MESSAGE - thank you for caring, thank you for collaboration and networking grow the CPF and POLSEC structures, draw resources and expertise.
THE TASK - get RURAL SAFETY/FARM MURDERS under control thru effective policing, evidence collection and Intelligence for successful convictions and prosecution.
YOUR TASK - support the 911RIDE by participation, advocating and resourcing.
THE GRAND-FINALE a national motorbike ride that will be the biggest ever in South Africa. Departing from the VOORTREKKER MONUMENT to the UNION BUILDING. To handover the final memorandum WITH every signature of support planned in the first-half of 2018. This will bring together an approximate 30,000Km ride visitations to more than 400 communities and police stations.
