69 Mach1 restoration
« on: August 11, 2017, 02:25:03 pm »
So we picked up this 69 Mustang Fastback Mach1 last weekend for me and my dads project

Busy with a full restoration on her enjoy the pics

What she looked like before we bought her

How we bought her in boxes and stripped 3 bakkie loads of parts and a shell

Then the paint stripping started on monday and we got this far

Remarkably little to no rust just 2 tiny spots

And what we aiming for original colour and wheels

She going for a brushoff blast in 2weeks very light blast to get the final layer of original paint off

But for a complete strip and blast was about R20 000

That is a thing of beauty

and capture the good times, develop from the
negatives and if things don't work out, just take another
